Qualified ECE Teacher (Over 2s)
We are searching for a new kaiako to join the Oma Rāpeti whānau! Someone with passion and knowledge of our philosophy (RIE&Pikler) or willingness to learn!
Our Centre
We are a RIE/Pikler inspired centre that practice what we preach. We have a close-knit community and team, with great parents who really "get" our philosophy.
The centre is based in Central Auckland but is tucked down a quiet street with a large outdoor play space. We have lots of public transport options at our doorstep and plenty of off-street parking.
The centre is licensed for 50 children.
Our team work on a 9 day fortnight, with the 10th day including a few hours of professional time from home and the rest of the day to yourself. This allows you to rest, recharge and have a weekday to nail those chores - leaving the weekend free to fill as you wish!
We have low ratios and regular relievers. You can expect a supportive learning environment with regular PD and options to attend training such as Dance with Me in the Heart or RIE Foundations.
We are Looking for
A teacher with a passion for RIE/Pikler philosophies and heart centred relationships. You have probably completed RIE Foundations training or would like to complete it as soon as possible.

The centre is based in Central Auckland but is tucked down a quiet, leafy street with large outdoor play space. The centre is licensed for 50 children, 12 under twos (which we keep to 10 children under two). Our full time team work on a 9 day fortnight, with the 10th day including a few hours of professional time from home and the rest of the day to yourself. This allows you to rest, recharge and have a weekday to nail those chores - leaving the weekend free to fill as you wish!
