"When we leave Poppy in your care we know she is being nurtured and is safe."

"...We would just like to thank you again for providing Poppy with such an amazing environment to come to each day; one which she loved and was excited to embrace without fear. You gave her the courage and confidence to challenge herself and learn safely and enjoyably. We chose your centre for its ethics and morals and what it provides for the children but it would be just that if it wasn't for each and every one of your staff whom we have grown to greatly respect, love and learn from. When we leave Poppy in your care we know she is being nurtured and is safe and that is all a parent can ask for."

"I really do wish we could take our Oma Rāpeti family with us."

"There is only one goodbye that has been heartbreakingly difficult with our move. Aven's last day at Oma Rāpeti ELC today has left my heart so, so heavy. Aven has spent a large amount of her formative years at a centre where she has built the most beautiful relationships with her kaiako. Connection is everything to Aven & she was so well understood... I really do wish we could take our Oma Rāpeti family with us."

"The kind and caring companion I have in Charlie reflects your amazing work and the invaluable contribution you make to children’s development."

"We are all very sad. Oma Rāpeti has been what we loved best about our time in Auckland. We will miss the amazing teachers, the connections to our new home country that you nurtured, the rhythms, rituals and songs that you shared and the peaceful place of love and friendship. It was always so nice to come in in the mornings and afternoons; sometimes it was my favourite part of the day. I in particular cannot thank you enough. The kind and caring companion I have in Charlie reflects your amazing work and the invaluable contribution you make to children’s development.  Thank you! I wish there were more places like yours on this planet."

"I have endless respect for the team who role model and encourage such awesome respectful relationships."

I searched for so long to find the centre that spoke to my heart. It was important to me that my little guy was understood, nurtured and respected. Watching him grow and develop his empathy was amazing and I have endless respect for the team who role model and encourage such awesome respectful relationships. His current teachers still comment on his wonderful empathy and I truly believe this was because it was nurtured during those years at Oma Rāpeti. Please pass my thanks to Brenda in the kitchen - her homely, preservative and sugar free cooking was a big reason we came to Oma Rāpeti and it did not disappoint. A big thank you Oma Rāpeti for all your time, care and love.

"The staff are passionate about what they do and the philosophy is wonderful."

"We have our 2.5 year-old son at Oma Rapeti and our 8 month old daughter has just started. Our son started when we moved here and he was 20 months old. Having never been in anyone else's care, this transition was a bit difficult for him but with the help his brilliant carers it slowly happened. He adores the place and all the people there. I now have trouble convincing him to leave each day! I've just transitioned my daughter in to The Burrow. It's been a quicker transition period due to her age but more fragile for me as she's so young. My mind is totally at ease though. The staff are passionate about what they do and the philosophy is wonderful. I am so grateful to have found this place"

"Would definitely recommend Oma Rāpeti to anyone looking for a caring, family oriented daycare."

We are so grateful to have found a daycare that our daughter enjoys so whole-heartedly! She asks to go to Oma Rāpeti even on days when she's just at home. I love the way they look after the kids, fostering their independence (especially at meal times, and that's really shown through at home) and the love they have for all the kids... Would definitely recommend Oma Rāpeti to anyone looking for a caring, family-oriented daycare."

"It felt very unique and not like any other centre we had seen or experienced."

"The physical aspect of the centre was extremely appealing also being in a quiet street surrounded by a park yet close to the city and with a large outside area where children can get dirty and garden and play. Basically do all those wonderful things that are so important.

We felt very lucky that she was in this centre. We felt that she was being loved and cared for and stimulated in the right kinds of ways. It felt very unique and not like any other centre we had seen or experienced.

It was not stressful for her or for us and each day was another day that she learnt something new and interesting. The best environment for her and for us whilst we had to work."
